#7 Speed of changing Technology
I have been in the library environment for over 20 years and have experienced the progress in the development of providing the borrower with information and materials from handwriting everything and the time-consuming card file system to present day immediate access to just about anything within seconds via computers and the internet. #3 Flickr
Welcome to Flickr!
Flickr is a great site for looking at ingenious photos of just about anything. As I have an interest in photography I spend lots of time here. The extra tricks of mashups and mosaics are fun to fiddle with. it is even possible to find friend's photos there also.

#2 Blogging
Blogging on - I have used facebook for a few months to keep in contact with family in the UK. It is great fun sending and receiving little token gifts and creates a fun space with plenty of info as well- great for eavesdropping on your children's current friends !! It has more atmosphere than normal emailing.
